Assistant Day & Night Receptionist

The Assistant Day & Night Receptionist is responsible for providing attentive, courteous, and efficient service to all guests from arrival to the point of departure, while maximizing room revenue and occupancy.

Responsibilities:

– Support the Front Desk team in delivering a seamless and welcoming experience to all guests.

– Greet and assist guests upon arrival and departure, providing information about hotel facilities and services.

– Answer inquiries from guests regarding restaurants, transportation, entertainment, etc

– Assist with check-ins, check-outs, and reservation management under the guidance of the Front Desk team.

– Maintain accurate records of guest information, room availability, and daily reports as required.

– Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and messages, ensuring timely delivery.

– Assist in coordinating guest requests and special arrangements, escalating complex issues to the Front Desk Supervisor or Manager.

– Help maintain front desk organization, supplies, and administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications & Assets:

– At least 1 years’ experience working in a similar position.

– Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

– Ability to work on a variable schedule including weekends and holidays

– Ability to integrate and work well in a team environment

– Excellent skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel

– Good telephone persona with a friendly and helpful demeanour

– Possess an eye for detail and ability to work under pressure

– Strong written and verbal communication skills

– Strong problem solving and trouble shooting skills

– Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-moving environment
